Horizon July 3rd — August 15th 2021

Where the earth and sky appear to meet. An indistinct boundary in motion– a movement through time. The limit of a person’s perception, experience or interest. To broaden one’s “horizon.”  We see Horizon as a soft, permeable and shifting boundary– a distance that expands.  A place and non-place, indistinct but inferred. It roves across. Horizontal. A metonym. Toward a forward and visionary thinking in public, widened with one another.  There are enough mirrors, so we hold hope as an invitation for surprise– an expansion of reality.

How we think and speak can mold and shape the world.  The horizon as the walls of a room, the eyelids… then perception of all that’s beyond. Are you part of your own horizon? Our horizon? We look forward and across with hope as a discipline, in an understanding that the work we make together has direct and transformative potential for world building. In a spirit of Eros over Agon, in love rather than conflict, there is another way to assemble vision in the absence of sight.
